We are looking for a Junior Software Engineer with strong programming fundamentals, analytical thinking, and a genuine interest in solving technical problems.
You will work alongside experienced engineers to develop, maintain, and improve software applications. Work Location: Onsite in Ho Chi Minh
Develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications using Python with knowledge of Java, JavaScript or relevant programming language is a plus.
Implement software features and enhancements based on clearly defined technical requirements.
Investigate and resolve bugs with guidance from experienced engineers.
Write clean, readable, maintainable code following established development standards.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
Work collaboratively with team members to understand application functionality, data structures, and system workflows.
Maintain technical documentation and accurately record development activities.
Communicate progress, challenges, and potential blockers proactively.
Learn new programming languages, tools, and technologies as required by the project.
Foundational knowledge of Python, with knowledge of Java or JavaScript being a plus.
Good understanding of object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, and software development principles.
Ability to read, understand, and write programming code.
Familiarity with debugging, testing, and version control tools such as Git.
Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving.
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies and adapt to new technical environments.
Ability to work collaboratively, accept feedback, and take ownership of assigned tasks.
Strong understanding of information security and technology governance, with experience ensuring engineering practices follow company security policies and ISO 27001-aligned procedures.
Nice to Have
Experience with SQL or relational databases.
Familiarity with REST APIs and backend development.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments.
