About CoderPush.

CoderPush is an AI and cloud engineering company of about eighty engineers in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, an AWS Advanced Partner with the Generative AI Competency, working with MBBank, TPBank, TPS, Gelex and Sungroup. We are running a multi-entity AWS migration for a banking group and building AI systems that go into production inside banks. We exist to prove that Vietnamese engineers, empowered by AI, can build the systems that run the world’s most demanding industries.

About the role

You own the people and the craft. Every engineer reports to you through two Engineering Managers. Every technical answer we give a client reaches them through a Tech Lead you appointed and hold to a standard. Our AWS practice, the partnership’s technical side and our competency applications are yours. You set the technical hiring bar and you hold it. You report to the MD and work to a written boundary with our COO, who owns the work, the dates and the margin, so that you can own the engineering.

This is a founding-team-level seat at a company that has doubled and intends to keep going: about eighty people today, about 110 to 120 in twelve months.

What you will do

Manage the Engineering Managers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and through them every engineer: growth, performance, allocation and the bench.
Appoint and hold the Tech Leads, one per key account, and be the technical escalation of last resort across projects, migration programmes and consulting engagements.
Run our AWS practice through its manager: the technical standard for building on AWS, the architecture bar on our migration programmes, and the technical side of our AWS partnership.
Own our competency roadmap technically, starting with Migration and Modernization, and the well-architected evidence behind it.
Write and hold the technical hiring bar per level, calibrate the interviewers, and decide every technical offer.
Make spec-driven and AI-agent-driven development the way we build, and set the standard for how our engineers use AI tooling.
Report on one page every month: people, bar and hiring, standards, practice, escalations, risk.

What you bring

12+ years in software engineering, 5+ years leading an engineering organisation, and experience managing managers.
AWS depth: you have owned the architecture and the operation of a production estate on AWS at enterprise or bank scale. Solutions Architect Professional now or within six months.
Migration experience: at least one datacentre-to-AWS migration run end to end, landing zone through waves, cutover and the run afterwards.
Strength in at least two of cloud, data and AI, and the appetite to learn the third.
A hiring bar you have set and held, including the times you said no to a start date.
Credibility in front of a bank’s CTO and architecture board, in Vietnamese and English, and writing that is clear and short.
Strong understanding of information security and technology governance, with experience ensuring engineering practices follow company security policies and ISO 27001-aligned procedures.

Good to have:

AWS partner experience and a competency taken through approval, data and AI on AWS including on-premise deployment, and familiarity with what Vietnamese banks are held to on data residency.

What we offer:

An executive seat with real ownership and a written boundary that protects it, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
An AWS Advanced Partner practice with live migration programmes at a banking group.
Salary plus equity participation and variable pay tied to engineering outcomes rather than to margin.
Certification and training sponsored.
Hybrid work, no clock-in, a young senior team and a modern engineering culture.
